Meet Dr. Dao
Stephen Dao, D.D.S., is a cosmetic and comprehensive dentist with an interest in composite bonding, implantology, orthodontics, and minimally invasive dentistry.
Dr. Dao attended Texas A&M University in College Station, where he majored in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Nanoengineering, graduating with Honors.
He went on to do research at Princeton University, focusing his research on white blood cell and platelet aggregation. Dr. Dao obtained 99th percentile marks on the competitive DAT and attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, where he tailored his studies to focus on cosmetic dentistry and 3D printing.
Dr. Dao has traveled all around the world, dedicating hundreds of hours of continuing education each year to give his patients the latest dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Dao’s treatment philosophy focuses on biomimetics and minimally-invasive dentistry. He believes in preserving as much of the natural tooth as possible.
Dr. Dao is married to his best friend, Dr. Sherry Oung, D.D.S., also a Baylor dental grad. They have two beautiful girls, Vera and Josephine, and two rambunctious dogs, Buttercup, a cavapoo, and Snickers, a beagle. Dr. Dao and his family are proud to call Coronado home.
